CCHS Marching Band FAQs

What are Dinkles?

Shoes. The funny name was inspired by the character Harry Dinkle, who is the band director in the Funky Winderbean cartoon written by Tom Batiuk.

Students can rent or purchase their Dinkles – and can typically trade for a new size if needed. Dinkle ordering takes place at the mini band camp uniform fittings in June. Payment for Dinkles can be made through your Charms account.

What is Libby Time?

If you are early, you are on time. If you are on time, you are late!

Band members and their parents or older siblings who drive them to practices and events need to set their clocks to Libby Time!

What is Cheddar-Up?

A cheesy name for the online payment portal that allows you to use a credit card or PayPal to pay fees related to band.

Did you know that “cheddar” is slang for money?

Pay via Cheddar-Up here.
