Dear 2020 Marching Band Parents,
I hope you are all doing well and your student is enjoying the start of the new school year. This letter is the first of many communications you will receive from me to keep you current. Included in this e-mail is a checklist for new and returning band parents to consider in supporting our marching band students.
Key news includes the following:
1. There is no student marching band fee this year. We request that each family donate a minimum of $150 to the band program – https://my.cheddarup.com/c/
2020-2021-cchs-marching-band- music-will-carry-us-through. Much thanks in advance for your contribution.
2. 2020 Marching Band Store is available for purchases of 2020 apparel, featuring a design created by a marching band student for the marching band community. Please note that each marching band student will receive a commemorative short sleeve cotton shirt at no charge. Store closes on 9/6 – https://stores.
3. Please consider signing up for King Soopers Community Rewards, Safeway Community Giving Cards, and AmazonSmile to help raise funds for the band program. Instructions are shared in the letter.
4. Online Silent Auction is on 10/6 and Butter Braids & Cookie Dough event will happen in September/October timeframe. We will share more details in 1 – 2 weeks.
