Hello CCHS Marching Band Students and Parents,

Welcome to Marching Band Season 2022!  The next two weeks, the Uniform Committee will be getting all Instrumentalists’ Uniforms ready for the first full-uniform event; Western Welcome Week Parade.

WEEK 1 BAND CAMP
Students are scheduled for specific time slots Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5pm – 8pm for their UNIFORM MEASURING. We expect this to be less than ten minutes per student. See Attached schedule by last name.

 

Measurements:

  • SHAKO – head circumference,
  • GAUNTLETs wrist circumference

No-touch measuring with Student held tapes and Reporting

  • JACKET – Arm length & chest
  • BIBS – Waist and in-seam

New Band Parents and Students – see attachment – Uniform Components

Based on student measurements, our trained Uniform Committee will gather Uniform Components for the second week fitting.

WEEK 2 BAND CAMP
Students are scheduled for specific time slots Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, depending on  Band Camp times (some sections vary), Possible conflicting Check-in times and their section-specific Uniform requirements. During this time, students will try on their Jackets and Bibs privately and learn their uniform maintenance. Any changes will be made during this time.
This schedule will be issued toward the end of WEEK 1.

 

A Note about the schedule:

The schedule is designed to provide the least disruption to the Student’s Sections.

In order to provide each of our students a comfortable Measuring and Fitting experience, we ask that no one come to the Fine Arts Auditorium Lobby 4:30pm through 8:15pm, other than the scheduled Volunteers, and the students confirmed for the specific time slot. Students that aren’t scheduled, parents, siblings, unscheduled volunteers will be asked to leave.  

 

Attention All Band Parents
Maintaining the CCHS Marching Band Standard for 105 Instrumentalists does require lots of support. Therefore, please see the Sign-up Genius Link for Volunteer Slots, available during 5-8pm and 2– 5pm time frames for the two weeks of band camp.
