2021 Colorado Gives Day is December 7th! for CCHS Band Timpani Fundraiser

Support Cherry Creek High School Bands on Colorado Gives Day 2021!

The award-winning Cherry Creek High School Marching and Concert Bands, in partnership with the Cherry Creek School Foundation, is raising money for new timpani for it’s percussion sections. A set of used timpani costs approximately $18,000.

Cherry Creek High School Marching Band just finished a very successful 2021 marching band season with a historic 3rd Place win in the  5A Colorado Bandmasters Association competition! Under the direction of Tim Libby, Jessica Vaughn, and Craig Westwood, the competition is to promote comprehensive music education through participation and performance.

Your support will allow us to continue providing life-changing participation to many kids in a very competitive program. Thank you for your support!

We need to reach as many band families, band alumni, and band supporters as possible before Colorado Gives Day on December 7th.  Please help us get the word out and forward the CCHS Band Colorado Gives link to 10 contacts in your email list.  Many thanks for helping us in our effort!

Things to keep in mind:

  • If you take the standard deduction, which most people now do,  a single person can still deduct $300 and $600 for married, without itemizing.
  • By giving via Colorado Gives, you can easily direct matching employers to easily contribute their matching contribution.
  • Donating on December 7th maximizes your donation.  Colorado Gives Day  features a $1 Million+ Incentive Fund. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day receives a portion of the fund, increasing impact and the value of every dollar donated. Colorado Gives Day has grown to be Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event, raising more than $307 million since it began in 2010.

Go Creek!  Go Band!
